Just get it. Learn it. Love it! Premiere is my number one all-time favorite creativity tool for editing on the computer, and Lightroom is great for photo editing. I smile and learn new things every time.
My current pick for editing on your phone. It's free, it's made by Instagram, and it covers what most creators actually need for Reels and Shorts.
There is a lot you can do with vidIQ, but my favorites are finding keywords — since I hate thinking about that stuff — and chatting with the AI coach for ideas.
The best music you can use in your YouTube and Instagram content. Even sponsored videos!!! Read the fine print for yourself, people!!
I am admittedly not a Photoshop wiz, so I get a lot out of Canva's drag-and-drop interface. Lots of free, customizable templates. Big fan!
What I use to grab clips from long-form content. It has improved SO MUCH over the last year and just keeps getting better.
Officially for Instagram DM automations, but really SO MUCH MORE. Send people from your IG Live to YouTube? Use this. AI analysis of competitor accounts? USE THIS!
My main YouTube and livestream camera, paired with the Sigma 16mm lens. If you have seen my face on video, it was probably through this camera.
The lens on my ZV-E10. Wide enough that the camera sits close — I can touch it — without being zoomed into my pores. Main lens for YouTube and a lot of vertical video too.
The camera that got me back on team DJI. Get the Creator Combo, skip the basic version — charging case, wide lens, mounts, and a DJI Mic 2 that needs no receiver.
Brings my cameras into the computer as webcams — it is what makes my livestreams look great. I have tried multiple HDMI capture cards and this is the only one I actually like.
My main gurrrlllll for audio in Zoom calls, livestreams, and video recordings. Works USB and XLR. The BEST thing is the digital noise reduction — it is magical.
You might not need all of this, but I honestly don't know you like that. Multiple mics, sound effects, music — but folks that know me know I truly love it for the voice effects. Sometimes you gotta sound like a monster or a chipmunk!
My favorite wireless mic set when two people each need their own audio. I use this with my cohost on our show, Everyday Easy.
Always with me, always ready to film. Half my vertical content starts here — see the guides for connecting real microphones to it.
There are so many styles of phone holders and tripods — the exact ones I use regularly are all on my Amazon storefront.
My favorite travel buddy when hauling a lot of gear. Stores everything, rolls with me anywhere, sturdy, and full of modular dividers. I love this piece!
